My recollection is that the push forward with Wheatstone only really began in the last 6 months or so, hence even if someone was looking agreeable to something in Oct, with changed outlook both at Wheatstone and Caterina, changes in the LNG market, a more robust CUE (and shakier MEO) to do a deal now on the basis of expectations from a meet and greet in October would be a pretty big ask, even if MEO/pf were being completely kosher.
At least WE have sound management, and a robust base business.
