I don't think it will do much to smoking levels but it will hurt and annoy the profiteering cigarette companies and that can only be a good thing. It certainly won't hurt anyone else.
If they have to drop their prices , well good, the govt can always increase the tax to fill the gap and help the health system with all the cases of lung cancer victims which is currently draining the system. It's a win win for all.
