I’ve seen numerous posts where it has been patiently explained to you, yet you persist with this overall line. Perhaps you can take your questions/concerns to the US healthcare insurance scheme and see if they will listen.
However the very simple answer is that the insurance scheme allows $X amount to be reimbursed if it meets a certain code/classification. If the device/product meets that code, the doctor can claim that $X amount themselves. So the doctor is incentivised to promote the product because they receive remuneration that way. They can promote the product in good faith to their patients knowing that the FDA have approved it, it’s been through the necessary clinical testing, and it’s fit for purpose.
Secondly, any company in a product launch space has to spend a fair amount on advertising and marketing. You have to incur the hefty upfront expenses before the revenue flows down the line. This is Business School 101 so not sure I really need to explain it beyond that.
I’m happy to try and engage with you if your questions are genuine, but I’m afraid after reviewing threads going back a long way they clearly aren’t. You raise the same handful of issues ad nauseam and don’t seem to accept any counter view.
It’s clear you don’t believe in Respiri and that’s fine. Hopefully you can save yourself the mental exhaustion of having to come into a thread of a company you don’t believe in. I don’t think anyone here needs rescuing.
