One was able to pick the time to travel from Bris to Sunshine Coast for a good run...now forget it as it is nuts every day...
I lived on the Sunshine Coast back in the 90's and would travel to Brisbane almost every day, sometimes twice a day on the two lane road it was then with never a problem. Went to Bribie last Saturday morning...traffic was bumper to bumper around Carseldine as usual, thinned out a bit until Burpengary, then was a crawl from the BP to the turn off...
Wouldn't matter if the road were 6 lanes it would still be bumper to bumper...I'd hate to have to travel from North Lakes to Brisbane and back every day!
