It has been a complete deriliction of duty by Qld government. Massive population increase, massive increase of taxes for stamp duty, etc all due to population increases and massive increase in size of public service. We all know they haven't increased frontline health staff as beds have not increased anywhere near in line with population. The Premier has increased her staff to a level unprecedented with mostly spin doctors, but hasn't included real doctors. Ramping has been a problem well before Covid, and will continue post covid due to lack of investment despite a much larger and aging population. Covid has just been an excuse to extort the feds for health funding that the state government has neglected despite record revenue. One day the public will wake up to the incompetance of this government, but they haven't shown that yet and the opposition is equally useless and can't throw a punch. I only hope we get some good alternate parties.
