Hi Deadfish I spoke to the company a few weeks ago, from memory they advised that the cut off date for the deal is Feb 28 but that is extended if the reason for the failure to complete is that the Chinese authorities haven't granted their approval by that time.

If the recent form of the Chinese authorities is anything to go by, we will be in for a rather long wait.

I tried calling the company last week to check on progress but didn't manage get hold of anybody.

At least the exchange rate has moved in our favour since the deal was announced, by my reckoning the $53.2 million is now approx $55.5 million.
