Deadfish (& others) I spoke to the company again, word now is of a 6 month deadline, that would push it out to late May. Also advised that things went slow in China during the Chinese New Year but back to normal now.

Results out next week, presumably late next week, as expected the report will provide an update of progress with the sale.

On the tax side of things the suggestion is that 10% witholding tax on the gain will apply in China. In respect of Australia, hoping to pay little or no tax but it is particularly complicated.

I note that Australia and China do have a double taxation agreement so the 10% witholding tax should presumably be able to help offset any tax that is payable in Australia.
