There's a whole series of mini-warrants with stops at 58,57,52 and so on (can't recall all of them).
Anyway. The shorters are trying to trigger them. However, you'll also notice that the buyside gets stacked above 58c to prevent the stops being triggered and causing a massive downward spike.
I'm guessing that's why we so many charitable shorters showing us the light on this thread.
