    Hi Misty

    It depends on the volatility. I try to trade the 5 and 10 min charts so that I can get on small trends. I have had trouble sometimes with ultra short timeframes (unless it is a breakout) as the spread can be a handicap on really small movements.
    The hawkeye/hammer gives good signals but doesn't work on individual bars so much as identifying beginnings and ends of trends.
