I wish my hubby would buy me shares in a diamond company, he really sucks at picking jewelery.

I think John Constantine makes a good point about being wired correctly for trading. A lot of women do spend their weekly earnings on shopping (I know a lot of them) but equally there is a fair proportion of men who think nothing of blowing several weeks wages on the latest gizmo or toy for the landcruiser. I keep my hubby happy by buying him small treats when I reach certain trading goals - he wants a model A380 next!

Not sure that it's true about it being easier to trade full time if you're single. One the one hand there are not so many life responsibilities but on the other having a life partner who provides the steady income stream while you (the trader) provide the cream works well too.
