on the education issue, i'm one of those mugs with a degree in commerce (economics and finance) and I tend to agree with johno and others that its not really that useful for successful trading, except to the extent that it familiarises you in a fairly superficial way with basic theories, models, concepts and terms etc in advance, and maybe teaches you a little about reading a balance sheet. From there you're just like everyone else. IMO anyway
