CQR (which is the second highest distribution yield amongst REITs after AJA) announced today that the estimated distibution for the half year ending 30 June 2010 will be 2.3c per unit (MCW paid 3c per unit for the first half). The SP of CQR lost 1c today.
It will be a week or two before AJA annouce the estimated distribution for the second half as they need longer time maybe to claculate the estimated profit/loss from hedging. I think the recent movement in AUD will result in higher operational profits offset by losses from hedging so it should not affect our distibuion.
Trading volume today was extremely low (less than 360000). It has been said "volume precedes price" so with the current trading volume i am not expecting any major changes in the SP in the coming few days.
