Pleasure mate, thx for your kind words. Louise is a great fan of candlestick charting as am I. All instos use pattern recognition and technicals these days so its not voodoo like some people think. It is just a study of patterns and cycles which do have common footprints.

There is a book called Master Swing Trader by Alan Farley, been a reference for many years. Really interesting stuff. Talks about the coiled spring phenomenon. Some of the patterns have probabilities attached to them, observed over many years. For example, head and shoulder breakdown patterns have a better than 75% chance of completion.
