Dear Sir
Zinc Co Australia Limited ("ZNC") wishes to clarify today's announcement of a non-renounceable pro-rata entitlements issue to shareholders of Options at an issue price of one cent ($0.01) per option on the basis of one (1) Option for every two (2) Shares on the record date of 7 November 2007.
Zinc Co Australia Limited shares will trade ex-entitlement with respect to the issue of Options from commencement of trade on Wednesday 31 October 2007.
