Yes, their research is interesting but it is still in its infancy stages at UWA. If they ever manage to replace synthetic graphite it will be many many many years away. Currently synthetic sells for about $20,000 / tonne and suitable replacements from natural graphite potentially less than $7,000 /t. So there is a long way to go yet. Otherwise I would be very careful asking the same question on all the graphite company threads as this could be construed as blatant cross-promotion - tip: most the advanced plays from Oz and Canada have Feasibility studies / scoping studies on their websites ... go check them out !
