I believe the geo is due back around the end of this week. I'm not sure about that, though.
It is debateable whether the results will be back before then; I don't think so.
Perhaps, the geo knew approximately when they would be back from assaying before he departed, believing that he would be back in time? For I would think that the management would like him to analyse them at the time of making their announcement.
