I agree Melbnut.
The share price had ramped up 30% on nothing prior to the halt. The suspicion would have been that price sensitive information had made it to market. I think the co did the right thing putting the securities in a halt and then suspension until the wind Ann is made.
Ultimately it protects existing holders from dodgy practices and prevents further (if any) manipulation of the price. Once the Ann is made the market can reset the price fairly.
If the deal is $30m as has been hinted then those that hold may be in for good times but who knows until the Ann is made!!
