Exactly my thoughts, you're not going buy a mixed bag of lollies, when all you want is jelly beans. My hope is that they could possibly, at the buyers request, regrade some of the lots to the buyers needs, i.e Pink stones in one bag, red ones in a different bag etc. I know its not as easy as that, but they should have got this sorted in the first place.
