The trading halt was proper, due to the report by Reuters that was not substantiated a rumor was out. If COK had not halted and corrected the report ASIC could have said that they were breaching the listing rules.
COK did the right thing as soon as the report was noted, halt the securities from trading so that no one starts to buy because of an incorrect report.
