As much as I don't like the idea of a leak, I also don't believe Profitrader has committed any offence.
The prohibition in the Corps Act on insider trading relates to:
(a) applying for, acquiring, disposing, etc of a financial product; and
(b) communicating inside information to a person who the insider knows or ought reasonably know will acquire, etc a financial product.
Clearly PT has not done (a).
He has communicated the information (assuming it is inside info) to us, but he knows that we cannot trade on the info.
Ie - PT is not in trouble merely because of his recent posts.
As much as I don't like the idea of a leak, I also don't believe...
