I would imagine that PLS knows exactly what they bought and what they are going to do with ALO plant. They spent a lot of money to get it. My guess is that their engineers looked at the plant and have decided they can upgrade it to a point where production is profitable. I presume most of the equipment installed is fairly new and the infrastructure items like tanks, bins, buildings could be reengineered, that's just my guess. As far as having two plants near each other what different does that make as long as they are both profitable, two is always better that one.
