If you put in a sell limit order at $1.20 then it has sold given the share price is above $1.20. A limit order means it will sell at the higher of the current market price or $1.20 but will not sell at a price below $1.20.
I think what you were looking for is a conditional sell order which is on a separate tab in commsec.
