Dam good point - the other point that keeps getting mixed up by all the TA and naysayers is that this is a 1 in 100 hundred year event. There is little or no history of the type of fundamental change that is happening around the world in the modern economy. Yeah sure cars replaced horses, the modern refrigerator was invented (I like that one it's pretty deep) but nothing like the change we are seeing towards renewables. You can argue hydrogen or lithium and they both have a place. There isn't going to be too many backyard hydrogen production and storage facilities- lot of roof top solar and batteries though. The old oil and gas economy is still going to be a part of life it's just not going to generate energy in the fashion it does now. Read ExonMobils story for a bit of insite
