Company Secretary is just an admin function, and usually outsourced. This is a good thing as it places people like JS on the same level as an independent director, with the ability to assess what is right or wrong for shareholders and the company.
Now it is truly an insider company at all levels - No independent directors and no JS !
I want to see true independent directors on the board, not a gang of Madame's..
