Sydney - Wednesday - August 23: (RWE Australian Business News) -
BHP Billiton Ltd (ASX code: BHP) lifted net profit 63.4 per cent to
10.45 million US dollars in the year to June 30 from $US6.4 million for
the previous year.
Revenues rose 20.3 per cent to $32.15 million from $26.72
million.
Underlying EBITDA rose 50 per cent to $18.05 million from $12.04
million.
Basic earnings per share rose 65.9 per cent from $US1.044 to
$US1.732.
Final dividend has been increased from 14.5 US cents to US18.5c,
fully franked, payable on September 27 to shareholders registered
September 8.
Total payout for the year is 36c, up from 28c.
