bummer old chap,
you overlooked the possibiity that a comet will hit the ocean and flood the entire area with 50 m or so of sea water. that of course would be bad news for road access for drilling. on the other hand it could make life easier since then they could float in a jackup in which case the wet season could only be helpful. but given time i guess you can come up with a few more risks.
