Now that Senator Hinch is gone and the LNP Government has given up the surplus to the wildfire crisis, I wonder if the childcare rebate might be extended to middle Australia and cover children not only of the Working poor and welfare recipients but to the middle and mass affluent socio economic groups.
If that occurs GEM will not be under the same SP pressure it has been since the Hinch cliff came in to basically end the rebate for all but the working poor and welfare recipients (or correctly put recipients of Family Tax Benefit A and B).
GEM might retrace its SP falls since Senator Hinch and the Hinch cliff imposed by the LNP Government.
Frydenberg will be under pressure to produce family friendly budget messages that could be of benefit to GEM or rather GEM’s SP and of course it’s customers, working families who make a decent buck.
