There is a fair bet MLX will go bust with the Renison tin project.
That leaves Jinchuan to bail them out- but at a price. Jinchuan will have total control over Wingallena.
A JV Jinchuan and BHP- the only ones with the expertise to develop the project. But whats in it for BHP? No.....
Well what about hiring some key personell ex BHP who developed Ravensthorpe? It will be well and truly up an running by this time.
But Jinchuan cant get a project up and running in Australia- they need an existing company to arrange it, one with a proven management, with key pesonell who have the standing to recruit these Ex Ravensthorpe personell.
Maybee, just maybee they are discussing this project right now (or was it at the time of the OPEC conferance?)
