Charges laid over Horizontal Falls high-speed crash
The vessel, Falls Express, collided with rocks at Horizontal Falls on May 27, with 25 passengers and two crew on board, on an eco-tour of Talbot Bay in the Kimberley.
It had allegedly been operating at high speeds through a narrow 7.5-metre gap between rocks. Emergency calls were made about 7.15am and the first medical assistance was on the scene by 8.30am.
