No, but they also can't release an announcement that isn't correct, so they are allowed time to digest the results, write an announcement, check it with legal, and have it signed-off internally.
In addition, they don't just sit around and wait for the results, they get to see preliminary drafts so they can comment and clarify.
So, there would be a lot of wriggle room in arguing "did you release it to the market in a timely manner?"
