Not a holder (yet), but the real estate investments concern me.
Not in themselves, but because of the distraction they create.
They distract and divert capital. And brain power. To me they are an unnecessary (and hence expensive) diversion of management's focus.
Surely sticking to the basic premise of the Grange business - find, dig, sort, sell, ship - is where the focus should be?
Open to comment.
