Absurd is akin to ridiculous, not stupid.
About 63 short years after humanity's FIRST-EVER flight in a heavier-than-air machine, President John Kennedy set America the task of sending a man to the moon and bringing him back safely to Earth, within ten years. THAT WAS ABSURD because, at the time they had NO IDEA how to do it.
But it was ANYTHING BUT stupidity that subsequently enabled them to pull it off.
Lighten up gtc; try to develop a sense of humour... and tolerance for others'. You will live a happier life than being enslaved by - and attempting to enforce on others - joyless woke rigidity. As rbsuper said, if it's not to your taste, just move on. Don't spoil the banquet for others.
