Over the years I have had two face to face polls... one interviewer who happened to be local cop which I was a little put off about but I was new to that town in early 90's... and a number over the phone.... not recently though. Generally they poll a number of issues, I was never prepared for political question. Maybe consider how your phone account appears to pollster, I don't know, but I have been polled a number of times.
