I feel due to time constraints (already way over time line and other operators eager for the rig) and difficult drilling conditions ENI halted drilling before GWC to get flow testing happening.
The implications of not hitting the GWC are massive. It seems likely that Heron, Blackwood and Evan's shoal are all linked at depth. ENI probably suspected this, hence their eagerness to get the Blackwood 3D completed.
