Actually, up here in Darwin, the situation of a No vote was raised in a public discussion.
The response will probably be very subdued from the Yes camp. As the proponents said, the lack of a Voice will not stop any programs or current arrangements, so there will not be any need for a huge outcry. It will be accepted, and then they will re-group.
Politically ? The ALP wins from a No Vote if they hold their heads up, and don't carry on like an English Cricket crowd. The political clout from handling a No response well is going to get them re-elected.
The Liberals cannot win any support; there is no hero status from a No vote.
