re: i sold today I can understand your reason for selling. I also think you're right that the share price would have climbed higher. Its a real shame about the takeover. See my previous post about their current financials. Now that they have announced further sales growth I think that the 4.60 price represents about 9x pretax earnings after adjusting for net cash in bank. This is way too low for a takeover but it doesn't look like anyone else is coming to the party and the harvey norman crew are happy to get out at this price given how low they bought in.
