People who even dare to use the word.."bubble" go wash your mouth out with soap..thats the only "bubble you will see.
Ever since Tulip Mania in the 1600s, people have deluded themselves that "this time is different" and that this time the bubble won't burst.
It's rubbish, particularly this time. Because REE deposits are not that rare, and it will not take many years of bubble prices for REEs before supply catches up with demand.
So while the increase in REE use has created a massive demand for them, the geology of the Earth is more than capable of filling the shortfall for the next few decades at least.
Even now, there are new or reconditioned REE projects in progress in Australia, the US, Canada, Greenland, Mozambique... the bubble will burst, guaranteed. The supply and demand curves will meet in equilibrium like they always do.
Not for a few years yet though, because it's going to take a while to get the new projects online. So make hay while the sun shines, that's my motto. I still think we've got significant bubbly upside.
