The Murray Darling is facing an uncertain future
--Less water in catchments
--Rising temperatures leading to higher evaporation levels
--Toxic algae outbreaks
--Rising levels of salinity due to reduced flows
--Less tourism due to fears of health issues around watercourses
--Restrictions on boating, camping and recreational fishing
Until issues are resolved there won’t be progress--- and the Basin’s economy is more likely to drop.
How can these issues be dealt with so all states are fairly treated?
