Hopeful2
To you, P&G ruthlessness ‘…merely serves as a reminder that OBJ is not in control of its own destiny.’
Not really appreciating why ruthlessness by P&G serves to remind us that OBJ’s future revenue involves other companies paying OBJ for the privilege of making and selling vast quantities of products containing OBJ tech.
To me, the manner in which this ruthlessness by P&G is demonstrated (by jettisoning other successful products in order to focus on high-growth, innovative products) reminds me how well OBJ tech (and company) is performing for P&G to decide to progressively engage further with OBJ to improve an increasing number of P&G's (retained) high-growth products.
Since P&G's sole focus is high-growth products, it seems pretty fair to speculate they plan to sell a lot of products containing OBJ tech.
I expect some significant P&G revenue impact this year, but no doubt we will have time for more speculation from our positions either side of the information gap.
