Swanny, COP speeding up the process doesn't help us now. Just shows how viable Posiedon was all along. COP wasn't in a rush before because there was some concern as to how KAR would fund thier end of the deal. With Origin that's not a problem. So the new mantra is get it out of the ground now.
I believe with the share price pushed down it limited KAR's options, and time frame to do something. I think after this current well is completed the size of the resource will be upgraded again. Which could have brought a higher price Origin would have to pay to play ball, or brought in competition.
In either event the fake games continue with the share price as we have somewhere between 3.42 and 3.92 worth of cash per share (depending on how you calculate) and we are now trading well below that. In what type of economic model does that make sense? Plus we own Brazil, Peru, and Carnovoron???? Certainly that's worth a few dollars a share.
