What's the bloody point then? If I wanted a tonne of gold from ABN, I would be looking to the market, securing a tonne at the market rate and then demanding that ABN pay me an equal sum in cash to compensate me. Otherwise the paper price just works in their favour! Substitution of supplier is a good way of ensuring you any contract you enter into is delivered.
