I think that there has been an overreaction to the RC related issues in the AMP share price and that this may provide some chance for upside.
What is not often discussed is the loss of value in AMP due to the full loss of value of the life insurance business finally being priced in, plus the lack of growth potential in AMP generally, plus the need for AMP to cut product fees to stay competitive and to deal with future industry requirements and changing economics of the advice business. It is possible that these things have contribute some billions or possibly half of the loss of value. All talk is harm done by RC.
