It could.. but quick turn arounds aren't uncommon..
The languishing price of gold has spooked a few, and despite it making little difference to a company's prospects such as ERM, buyers get the jitters.
It could take as little as good/bad jobs numbers in the US tonight, to turn the $US sentiment up or down, and consequently the price of gold.
I'm not sure about others, but I have a few gold hopefuls in a similar bucket, all experiencing the same issue, despite them being on bonanza grounds. (and in reality wouldn't be effected by a 10% swing in price of gold)
Market sentiment is what its about, whether its the $US, gold or general market.
Sentiment can change at the drop of a hat,, either way.
