I recall the radio legend in his own lunchtime, John Laws, created a run on St George Bank in the 80s (I think) with a few uninformed comments.
Can't remember what he said that upset bank customers, but I'm sure it will have finished with... "from my very good friends at (insert sponsor's name as provider of substantial backhander.)
