Need to compare like with like as AMP is a closer comparison to the regionals/small lenders than one of the big four. Westpac's growth figure looks impressive but relative to existing book it's a 0.4% growth story. SP dropped when NIM reduction was flagged in November I believe, and market is mostly about re-financing applications rather than new loans. There was other news in the announcements in November so other factors could have been at play for SP. IMO.
