After 2 years in the job and a year and a half into his "transformation strategy," De Ferrari's legacy so far has been a destruction of value from $2.40 to $1.60, a war with financial planners, and a scandal relating to one of his top picks, Alex Wade. By any measure, it is hard to see how the CEO is adding any value for shareholders. Remember that De Ferrari is one of the highest-paid executives for a company the size of AMP plus he was paid a massive sign-on bonus. I do not think it has been money well spent.
