it is a subscale bank. 40% of suncorp bank. It’s costs look great and in part this is because it has no branches. But in part it is because it benefits from being part of the AMP group. What costs of head office overheads or corporate advertising are allocated to the bank? To what extent is the advice business in loss due to cost allocation or profits from product not being allocated to advice? If amp is serious about advice why could it not make money from what was ipac or amp advice and why did it sell it? Why is it advertising advice after selling advice business?

let me say again before I get accused of downramping by…….????…I think fair value for AMP is $1.60. I am just annoyed by the muppets who are running the place and not helping us get the share price there.

AMP has the most confused strategy and incompetent execution of whatever strategy it does have. Remember Collimate? And the bloke who was going to run it?

Lexi is probably a great person and competent manager. But not to run AMP. We don’t need wokeness. We need strategy and execution. Scott may have been good in a non competitive super fund. But for them to decide that North is the Jewel in the crown when it is 60% of BT which is valued at about $1billion tells you all you need to know.

AMP leadership have constantly lowered expectations and then failed to deliver. Sell it off for a buck sixty.”

it may be just me but I think it is more than just having different opinions it is about having a basis for posting. In what way are the numbers going in the right direction? Profit down. SP down. FUM down. Adviser numbers down. Corp super clients down. Costs downs but at expense of revenue.
