If AMP has development potential then the board and management should be exploiting that potential. The market, myself, and potential suitors also do not think AMP has any potential which is why the portfolio review fell over. This is why Ares didn't proceed.
Regarding the price, in the last few years, I can confirm that I believe that this was because I believe the share was over valued. I also believe that the shares are currently overvalued.
