AMP is are getting rid of advisers.
The advice business is the cause of many problems and is probably a loss maker from a p & l perspective
The more advisers they get rid of the more costs are reduced
A year or so after the advisers leave the AUM and fee revenue from the clients goes
The above is a vicious circle that seems like a good idea until you realize that they cannot easily get new advisers or clients
