In NZ an investor was run over the coals for buying and selling in such a way that was intended to manipulate the market. Now what is shorting. It is a way to manipulate the market. Sure, it will catch up with shorters sooner or later, but does not keep the market informed correctly of the current position of supply and demand. Make shorting illegal. Then we should see if there is a player trying to drop the price in front of a TO.
